What's in the box?
Use this chart as a guideline. While it represents the quantities and dates that we plan for, the actual amounts and dates will, of course, vary with the weather and the season. Each season usually brings on an abundance of some vegetables, and occasionally less of others; that is a risk that we all take together! The yearly quantities are for full shares; half shares can expect half to two thirds as much. Other vegetables you are also likely to receive include: arugula, celery, Chinese cabbage, dill, kohlrabi, pea shoots, radishes, rutabagas, and turnips.
There will also be opportunities during the course of the season to order fruit from other farms and orchards (such as blueberries, cherries, apples, oranges, grapefruit nectarines, and peaches), as well as meat (chickens, pork, and beef), all of which are raised organically and/or sustainably, with the exception of the peaches, nectarines, and cherries, for which we have not found reliable local organic sources.
